Salamanca, like any other university city worth its salt, is well known for its atmosphere of young people who are out for a good time. Going out at night to see the lit-up monuments and later have a drink is an excellent option for an evening out in Salamanca.

There are over 2000 bars and pubs where you will find all types of music. It is well worth your time to stop and admire the décor inside many of these places, as it is quite unique and painstakingly done.
